ALASKA YOUNG[BOOK US!]

“Straight out of Los Angeles, Alaska Young is a rock screamo band that has the breakdowns and stage presence to get the pits started and hardcore kids two-stepping. Starting at the age of fourteen, Alaska Young (formerly known as Strangest of Seas), has been influenced by many bands such as Underoath and Lower Definition. Alaska Young has grown tremendously over the years and have found a whole new sound to call their own. “We just want to make music that we enjoy and have fun while doing it” says the bassist Eric Guzman and that’s exactly what they have been doing by playing as many shows as they can at local venues such as The Green Turtle and Dipiazza’s. Alaska Young continues to try and bring in new fans while keeping the old ones coming back to their shows. Being such a young band with members ranging from the ages of sixteen to twenty, Alaska Young seems to know exactly where they want to go with their music. What do they hope to accomplish within the near future? “We hope to finish recording our first E.P. and send it out to some labels, and hope to get signed.
