About Me

In 2002, Purple Couch Productions grew out of a unhealthy lifestyle in the music industry. Since graduating as a classically trained Mezzo-soprano and then undertaking further studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Sue's unhealthy obsession for the dark side was calling.

After singing in a number of cover and original bands, with diverse styles of music from acapella celtic music to rock as well as working for a recording studio, Sue decided to branch out and Purple Couch Productions ( aka The Couch ) came to fruition.

Over the last 4 years, Purple Couch Productions has produced numerous events as well as coordinating events such as Brisbane Riverfestival, Woodford Folk Festival, The Dreaming and numerous Street Festivals.

Purple Couch's main focus is to produce events for Indie bands in venues in and around Brisbane. Putting together diverse lineups that will ensure the show is not one to be missed.

My Interests

Biographies, Marian Keyes and books that help not only decipher and unravel the mystery of this lifetime but give you the tools to make sure you make the right decisions for your own circumstances.

The Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, my beautiful friends and confidants in my life, they are the people that make living on this earth so worth while.
