Main Room
Popstarz believes Britpop to be one of the most important eras of British music. As the pioneering Gay Britpop club we'll never lose our passion for those amazing anthems! Who'll ever forget Suede, Elastica, Blur, Pulp and Supergrass,
We belt out the anthems every week, re-living the days when the boys and girls thought they would live forever!! That doesn't mean you won't get to hear harder stuff like Hole, Nirvana, Garbage and Placebo. Nor will the real retro lovers of bands such as The Smiths, The Breeders, The Clash, The Cure & The Pixies be disappointed! We play it all.
On the dancier side of things we play LCD Sound system, The Prodigy, Soulwax, Moloko, Chemical Brothers, New Order, Goldfrapp and Daft Punk are amongst the bands play listed.
Of course all current stuff is also included, so you won't miss out on Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Scissor Sisters, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, The Modern, Hard Fi, Bloc Party, The Strokes and any other band taking the alternative world by storm!
Rubbish Room
On this incredibly popular floor we play a whole mix of credible pop from the 80's to the present day! You won't get such naffness as Steps, Venga Boys & whatever boy band is the current teenage craze- instead your eardrums will be popped by the likes of Buggles, Madonna, Bananarama, Kylie, Girls Aloud, Duran Duran, Dead or Alive, Robbie, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Christina.. and Shakira!!

This steamy, sexy room is dedicated to the great sounds of Motown, chart R'n'B and funk! Artists such as Mary J Blige, Destiny's Child, Nelly & TLC get the crowd throbbin!
