Hello!
We are James and Talia! We dj together at pop, indie and various other events in and around London town.
We are currently resident DJs at:
Popstarz at The Scala - Alternative Room (Fridays)
Miss-Shapes at Ghetto (Thursdays)
We also occasionally play in the Popstarz Pop Room and at Stardust on a Saturday night at Trash Palace.
James started out as a real indie boy, and Talia as a real pop girl so we plan to play a good mix up of genres in a fun way covering anything from retro Britpop, latest electro-pop to the best new Girls Aloud song. Our plan is to make people dance, we play anything we think is good - we're neither 10 years out of date, not playing stuff so 'cool' you can't even dance to it.
We both djed separately at Warwick university covering between us Top Banana (cheesy pop), indiependance (indie), Decadance (80s), Neon (90s), Score (pop), Skool Dayz, as well as at major student balls in the West Midlands.
We've also played at gigs alongside Scissor Sisters, Alphabeat, Ash, Amy Winehouse, Supergrass, New Young Pony Club; as well as corporate award ceremonies such as the Music Week Awards
