If you haven't heard him yet, get ready to be awakened by the positive lyrical content; infused with the upbeat sounds, reminiscent of his Ethiopian experiences. Jahziel, from the tribe of Naphtali, grew up in the Headquarters of The Twelve Tribes of Israel in New York and was exposed to Orthodox music since he was a baby. He has performed in NY, D.C., California, Idaho, Connecticut, Jamaica, Grenada, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, London, Montreal, Toronto, Paris, Uganda and recently in Ethiopia where he appeared and sang with Wyclef, Bob Andy, Sidney Salmon and Ethiopia's chart topper: Teddy Afro. Jahziel Naphtali has been fortunate to share the stage with some the most inspiring artist in the world such as The Abyssinians, Burning Spear, Halfpint, Shinehead, Lucky Dube (with Admas Band), aswell as Aster Aweke, and GiGi. Jahziel "Goodly Words" Naphtali is also Host of the Orthodox Showcase Radio Program on 93.5FM NYC along with his Co-Host Cherry Rock and Selector Floyd Naphtali on Thursday nights late 2-3AM listeners absorb a very Rootsy, Edifying and Spiritual hour of music and conscious reasoning.
