GroundBreaking Records: Founded in St Croix by Donny Dread and his brother Dale Melody around 2000. In 2006 Nubian Natty came into the scene becoming First Lady of Groundbreaking Records.

The Company's goal is to Elevate Reggae Music to its Highest capacity , bringing Truths and Rights to mankind . Groundbreaking Records first release was entiltled "Straight & Narrow" a hip hop reggae lp dealing wid social injustice of the "ghetto youth" a term commonly used by Donny Dread ;Although "Straight and Narrow" was never release to the masses it is a staple in U.S.V.I. sound thats being created on St.Croix. The sophomore effort from company was a compilation designed to voice the voicless along wid more popular acts the idea worked brilliantly wid explosive upcoming fire youths like of course Groundbreaking Foundation Artist like Xkaliba, Donny Dread, Bishop - longside, Lyrical Tread, Ras Attidude ,Boy Blue ,Mr.Millenum ,Nubian Natty and last but not least Vaughn of Midnight.

This was of course his second apperance wid Groundbreaking Records as he already been recording wid Donny Dread on The Straight & Narrow LP. he did a Collaboration entitled "If I Betray" known as a classic amongst V.I. chunes. Groundbreaking Records has a collaboration entitled "ANEED" with Midnight that was recorded in early 2002 which was released early 2007. Although his voice was first heard on the Weep Not compilation along with XKALIBA , Donny Dread's and The company musical contributions surfaced long before that time as he plays on numerous STX recordings including Heed Jah Call, and Nemozian Rasta. Set De Pace is the name of Donny Dread's debut album, which appears on his own label, Groundbreaking Records. Xkaliba lp is entitled "Baptize In The Ghetto"Which was released 2007,which features three the hard way with Midnite, Xkaliba and DonnyDread in the song "See and Know" .

During 2004-06 Groundbreaking Records has been recording foundation Artists and the Company Newest Highly Anticipated Artist- Nubian Natty. exploded the company to the next level with hot combined songs with Donny Dread like "X-pert MarksMan" and "A Good Thing Now". Her New Lp "Nah Go Like Me" was released in 2007. The projects were all schedule to drop together.
