LOL!!! That's a madness!!!..............................................Righ t, pressing on.........................................Well, where do i start?First up, i just want to welcome you to my page.......This is a little about me in terms of 'The music side' of me is conserned..........I started my life in da music thing from when I was still in the stomach of my mother.......... Being the strong minded person that she is, she decided that she wasn't going to let being pregnant, put her off raving, providing that she is with the most responsable of her friends.........Which is where i get introduced to the wonderful spectrum of, BASS!!!..............I used to hear stories all the time about how I always started to kick when the music stopped, and went absolutly qiuet when the bass dropped..... But only when the bass dropped!!!............ She then had the NERVE, to complain when I played my music loud as i began to grow up and fully understand my love with music!........... I was only 5 at the time!!! Standing in front of the Hi-Fi, always turning the volume up, and doing my little 'Mad Toddler dancing'........................ I mean, come on.... She WAS partly if not, THEE one to blame for me loving loud music with HEAVY BASSLINES!!! Plus my uncle (Rudy) had his part to play in this of course, for he is just the same as I when it comes to music................Yeah, I love basslines..............(musically you fools! lol!)..............................Fast forward 6 more years, and it is the aftermath of one of her legnedary house partys, (Remember the days when you could have one of those???)and my uncle, Rudy Ranks left his two decks, his records and the rest of his equipment at my Ma's house.............Who told him to do that?! I mean, was he crazy?!................By the next few weeks i was up n mixing till my heart was contented....... I didn't have a damn clue what I was doing, but it sounded good to me all the same! lol.....(To me yeah? lol)........It was about a week later, (He STILL, hadn't come for his equipment yet!) that I did my first mix... BY ACCIDENT! I might add, and went NUTS! I even walked away and it was still in time!..........But could I do it again please? No. remember, I had NO teachings of any kind on this subject matter!!!.......I spent what seemed a long time trying to obtain that 'buzz' I got for that mix again.......... I was like a junkie, trying to achive their 'First Hit'all over again... In vain!... In pain! lol By the time I started to get somthing consistant out of it, it was time to say goodbye to the decks and I was heartbroken...................Fast forward a few more years............My next door-ish neighbour, gets some decks and then the movement was back on for me.................We mixed Hip-Hop, Swing Beat (Guy, today etc) Ragga (Bashment/Danchall) and some new, weird music called 'Acid House'.................Around about that time, two other guys, my neighbour and myself were dancers, going by the name of 'O.D.M.'. Which stood for Original Dance Manouvers. We was pretty known aroud the west end club scene for tearing up a dancefloor, no mercy!!!......................After two members moved away to different parts of london, it obviously became hard to stick to our regular practice which eventually led to our demise...............Hardcore(Early Drum N Bass) had just started it's rumbling by this time and my neighbour and I decided that we would jump back to mixing more than dancing. We still danced though, altough there was a strong desire for this new buzz.......................Through all of this I became an emcee by accident also. I used to chat the most shit on tape, I can be honest with you, but the feedback I used to get was crazy! Saying stuff like I make people laugh, they liked my care-free approach to Emceeing, and ladies saying all of the above plus mentioning that they 'loved' my voice...... I just, didn't understand! How can anyone like me just chatting shit for about 90 mins??? But all the same, I took that and ran the f**k with it! So much so, that I nearly forgot about mixing............................That drive would eventually have me emceeing every Thursday at Global Explosion's Jungle Nation at club 414 in brixton and a stint on Global FM, which later changed its name to Dream FM, emceeing for the New Jack Hustler. (Another friend at the time).........................Until the guys at Global and the radio fell out, which ended all of that... Well, the radio anyway.........................That is until I was on the infamous west london pirate station (As a Dj again!lol)Transmission 1 (Ic3-B.K. aka Mystro, Specialist Moss, Space n Neatly (Mc Neat), Mr Reds, Donkiller, Opium, Dj Space, Wigman, Crown Jools, Sidewinder (Ruffstuff Kru)e.t.c e.t.c...), with my understudy Major Skitz (emcee)............Major Skitz and I, firmly established ourselves as one of the 'Top List' sets on that station, by totally waking up the 'Graveyard shift' 6-8...AM! And getting moved to a more prime-time'ish slot........After about a year after Transmission 1 Crashed (Thru politics and fuckreys) I found that the music (Jungle/Drum n Bass)was changing into something I wasn't feeling any more. Producers got lazy and nothing ground-breaking was being made any more........T'was total shite I tell you! So I guess I kind'a cooled off for a while and started getting into writing to hip hop tracks and a little production.........................I was off DnB for a good while, that was until I started to check an old friend who lived not too far away from me (JuiceMan Dee)................ HE, was listening to DnB! AND, the type he was listening to, was: MY KIND'A MUSIC!!!.................................................... ....Needless to say that it kicked started my drive back into the DnB, and by the time I started to buss lyrics again, I had (due to the hip hop) found that I had changed and became much much more structured within my rhymes............... Before I knew it, I was again a fully fledged DnB Head and back on the radio. This time it was on a Inter-net station. (Gaia-Live) With Dj Chimes/ Dj FX/ Mc Hotrocks/ Vital and Simon Temp'la.............. This was the prelude to where I play now.............................Jeez, this is getting long!.............................................Alright, cut to now!!!................................I am making beats with a independent label............................ And will be blessing you lucky people with my music anytime now...................... It will be a Rap/ Garage(Proper)/Drum n Bass and some of that Funky House......................You can catch me on.................. WWW.LIFEFM.CO.UK......................(I will send up a bulletin on the week that we're on)......................... every 4t'nite on Friday's 10pm-12am GMT with DJ TERRA, A.K.A 'T.N.T'(Tee N Terra) Part of the mighty DESECRATED SOULS(DJ Smitty, DJ Y2, DJ Future, The Vinyl Vandals, DJ DV8, JuiceMan Dee) where I do both Dj/Mc now!!! lol.......................In regards to Drum and Bass, I like to play anything that will get people moving and having a wicked time, feeling the music!!!......From Liquid to Dubwise to Feelgood to some of that down right DARK and DIRRRTY floor bangers!!!...............You should come and give us a listen sometime.... What have you got to lose?! I play a bit of Football (soccer) when I get the chance, and also like going to work out at the gym.................... Can't forget reading!!!.................................................
