Planet Moon was founded as a Duo by Singer/Songwriter Ralf Hahn and Thomas Küchler in 1999, with a focus on melodic songs and groovy guitars and bass lines. Later Roman Berger (drums) and Patty Stucki (saxes) completed the band.
In November 2006 the four musicians released their debut Album "the plan" - after almost 2 years of work in Ralf's studio. It is a collection of songs from the beginning of the band up to now and you can listen to some of the tracks here :)
From November 2007 Planet Moon again was a trio, because Patty Stucki had left the band to concentrate on her own musical projects. Planet Moon then decided to work together with different musicians, live and spontaneously on stage!
In January 2008 Alex Weh (electric guitar) and Sabine Tophofen (vocals) joined Planet Moon and together we played a fantastic debut at Cologne's live club Blue Shell!
In March 2008 Roman Berger left the band and we had to find a new drummer very quickly, in order to manage the next gig in April. We are very happy to be able to announce that Oliver Külgen now joined Planet Moon in order to make it rock again! :D
