About Me

A stunning young lady who is fun, sexy yet sweet & adept, with a voice and songs that will take your breath away. This talented songstress has won both state & national titles for singing as well as song writing. Peta has wowed audiences both overseas as well as all over Australia including Hollywood, India, Norfolk Island, Sheraton Hotel, Brisbane Convention Centre, and toured Tasmania. Peta is currently travelling doing shows in both Brisbane and Newcastle. (click on "Events" for list of gigs)In October 2003 Peta Independently released her Debut EP, "Open Your Eyes", featuring five of her originals. This EP demonstrates Peta's eclectic yet unique & highly commercial style, & phenomenal vocal capabilities. Peta Evans-Taylor is continually songwriting and working towards her goals - determined to fulfil her dream of becoming an Internationally, Well-Known, Top, Signed, Music artist. Influences: Main/Utimate (grew up on): Dolly Parton, Celine Dion and Alice Cooper. Secondary (discovered later): Keith Urban, Lyn Bowtell, Elvis, Roy Orbison ('workin for the man'... love it!) David Bowie, Roxsette, Michael Jackson, John Farham, and Barbara Streisand. I've also lately become very fond of Dido, John Mayer, Lior, Coldplay, Tenatious D, Michael Buble, and EVERMORE.
It's part of my dream to meet, and - if at all possible - collaborate with some of the above people.
