in 2005 i travelled around europe and when i returned, i wrote my first attempt at a solo 6 track demo EP. it was entitled ELASTIC HEART and at that stage i was penned 'renee sometimes'. this was a very personal project which i learnt alot about myself, digital programming and hopefully, what works with my voice in conveying emotion. it was released in limited copies amongst friends but rarely heard online. the feature song on this project was AUTUMN DANCE (which received shadowplay airplay) and is to date my favourite song i have written. you can listen to it on my player.
2007 EP review - by Mick Mercer
2006 brought me some lovely collaborative projects working with some amazing talent. the EP UNDERSCORE that was due to be released in the coming months will not be happening due to technical issues. i had written the lyrics and sung on a number of songs composed by adam from PASK for this electronic industrial project. you can hear SPECTRAL from this project on here.
a work in progress on a another track with *MARKABRE from MGM . his compostion of the song THE ONLY ONE is still incomplete due to my violin parts being recorded and mark's direction of his music to create the final version.
© all lyrics (*markabre guest vocals) written and violin performed by TANK ANGEL. musical composition written and produced by the respective collaborators as explained.
i am currently waiting for winter to work on my own album. i am no longer accepting files as my solo work is the focus for 2007. thank for your all your mails â€
