Raven's Trauma

were back!!!!

About Me

Ravens Trauma was started in 2006 by members Chris Whited, Shawn Burgess and Chris Eller. After a while of searching for other members to complete our sound,we added Ben Guthrie on keys and sounds. We completed our band with adding Pogo on lead vocals. Since this time,we have been going strong in our local scene, gaining momentum, and branching out into other areas. We are writing music that we really love, and hopefully were touching on something that you,the listener will love as well! As for who we sound like,or what genre we fit into, who knows? We just hope that whatever genre we fall into is that were writing music that people can feel,as we feel it... We all bring totally different backgrounds and influences into our music, and it seems to come through in our songs. As for whats going on now,we are playing shows, writing songs, and trying to take this as far as we can,all while meeting alot of really cool people on the way . The following is a press release from Drake Busby, founder and host of The Scene. It is a review from one of our shows....Thanks for taking the time to read our bio,and hopefully it has helped to let you know a little about Ravens Trauma... This is Drake Busby, founder of "the Scene," Birmingham's upcoming television program highlighting the local artists of the southeast. I wanted to take this chance to give my official endorsement of "Raven's Trauma." Several weekends ago my staff and I and everyone from "the Scene" in Birmingham had the chance to join these amazing musicians for a live taping at Baker's Entertainment Center in Cullman, and I can honestly say that their amazing, intrinsic sound will guarantee them a place in Alabama music for years to come. From their refreshing use of brilliant sounds not heard from many other artists to their energetic stage antics and social interaction with the crowd, it's obvious that the musicians of Raven's Trauma are in a league of their own. I highly recommend catching them in a live performance at an area near you, because theyre guaranteed to find success on the road soon. Raven's Trauma is a group of brilliant musicians who's passion for rock is contagious. They're a headliner all by themselves, guaranteed to attract a crowd to any venue. I speak for "the Scene" when I say that we can't wait to see their next performance s
