Haha, I'll spare you the written-in-third-person dj profile. I'm a real person so here goes:

I've been djing professionally on and off since 94, the first time I rocked a party of 200+ people and realized that djing is uncanny fun for me, personally.

I love to DJ! I play various flavors of house and techno and have dabbled with electro/dancehall/dub/breaks/brazillian music/downtempo/jazz and just weird 7am stuff when I felt like it. I even used to play trance.

I've hosted my own dj show in college for three years, two times a week for 3 hours each time at one point, have over 6000 pieces of wax, blah blah blah blah blah. I can dj properly but I am nowhere near as good as John E. Thin, Dimitri from Paris, Frankie Feliciano, Rollo (JERUSALEM), Leon Roberts, Behrouz, DJ Simi, Sven Vaeth, Adam Freeland (circa 2001), Dubfire, Danny Tenaglia, and Kevin Saunderson. Those are talented djs. I just try hard and have good taste for terrific dancemusic.

I am a music lover first and foremost. I cannot stand posers and ego-driven djs that don't care. If you don't play every gig as though it's your last and best ever, you shouldn't be djing out to people.

My Interests

music, psychology, technology, biking, people watching, kite flying, party throwing, sales, cats, acting, writing, telling jokes / standup
those misunderstandings whose motivations or at-the-time, or still lasting forces at play will never be understood or known, but stick out and make you enjoy life!such as whether a little stutter in a vocal sample of a track was a pre-meditated stylistic choice, a sampler misuse (due to incompetency on part of user?, someone else loading the samples for the producer if they have helpers [then why didn't they correct it themselves?, or did it sound good and they kept it like that?]), or a lazy disposition working toward someone's ideal of theirself, or even a herd of brainded sheep, as an "artiste"?
If you understand and appreciate what I just described, then I want to talk to you and hear your examples of such things and not just in music :)

on events that shape you, as an individual

I can remember three seminal moments, related to music, well four in my life. 1. September 1992 (aged 12) my best friend at the time just bought a new sanyo stereo system. He got a new cd from a fire...
