Beltek’s biography:
In 1989, at the age of six, Beltek started his musical journey by taking piano lessons for six years and successfully finishing primary school of music. Soon after that he became familiar with electronic music, as his older brother brought home tapes from various DJs, that were giving them out as promo material. He was hooked by its sounds to such extent that he wanted to produce his own music. As there was nobody to show him the ropes and the electronic scene in Slovenia was still in bandages, he started from scratch. Learning everything alone was hard and time consuming, but with time and faster computers he was able to produce better and more complex music.
During his three years of active producing he developed his own recognizable sound and made a big stir in the electronic community. In the following half of 2007 he will release his first track Copacabana on Rising Trax, which is the sublabel of Rising music. The track is also in Feedback compilation 2, which is mixed by a popular Argentinean dj and producer Ricky Ryan aka Can Costa. Chris Lake famous producer / dj and proud owner of Rising music, will also make a remix for this track. In addition to that he will also entrust Beltek a remix of one of his own tracks. Pete Tong, considered by many as the "father" of electronic music, was drawn by Copacabana the first time he heard it. The track was even played on his video show Fast Trax and described by him as the next house anthem. As it looks the year 2007 is the breaking point for Beltek as he will also release his ever more popular trance track From dusk till dawn on an English label. The track will be remixed by Sean Tyas himself. Moreover he got many remixing offers from well known producers, which strenghted his music career even more.
On gigs he performs with Ableton Live! and a midi controler.
