I started getting into the dance scene when i was about 11 when all I could do was listen to CD's of Ibiza compilations and watch copius amounts of * Uncovered tv programmes.
I was originally into Trance and Hard House, but I later aqcuire a taste for the House scene and that was it.
I got my first set of Gemini belt drives (I know belt drives...but you have to start somewhere) when I was 15 and started "mixing" all sorts of genres. But as i said i found my love for house music!
I decided that I needed to up my game and bought a set of Technics Mark 5 when I was 19 and a Pioneer 600 mixer and a set CD decks, using them all to create the distinct sound that has become known as Craig Da Funk. Now playing real venues with reel people paying real money to come and watch me. Mainly due to a few years ago when I started Djing on Rise 1 then moving onto Mystery fm 87.5/106.8 (www.mysteryfm.net) where I can be found Sundays 15:00 - 17:00.
