Mo Betta, is a 24 year old Harlem native who is definitely on the rise. Mo Betta is an up and coming rap artist who lives for his music. He has done various shows within the city along with numerous shows out of town at different black colleges.He began at the age of 15 with his then partner Juelz Santana as a rap group called Draft Pick. Draft Pick had several shows throughout New York City while performing together, including Amateur Night at the world famous Apollo Theatre, where they won two weeks in a row. Although Mo Betta and Juelz are no longer a group, the two still remain friends. The two are actually brothers being that Juelzs mother adopted Mo Betta.Since then, Mo Betta has being doing various things to further his career in the rap business. His first album, The Listening Party, was released at the beginning of 2005. This album includes songs featuring Juelz Santana and Sacario. He is currently working on his sophomore album titled, For Betta or Worse, which include songs featuring G-Dep, Dylan from Making the Band, and of course Juelz Santana. On this album, Mo Betta worked with producers Ron Browse, Develop and Heat Makers just to name a few. His first two singles entitled, Fed Up which is a song about having a girl thats down for whatever and Like That which is about fat asses, were released this summer. Mo Betta has also done videos for both singles where he and his production company worked to put the videos together. Fed Up is currently on cable access shows getting spins now.Aside from the music, Mo Betta also dabbles in movies.
