I started my career as an assistant engineer in 1990 at Dave Stewart's Church Studios in Crouch End, North London, assisting on albums and sessions with artists including Depeche Mode, George Clinton, Dave Stewart, The The, Kingmaker, Freaks of Desire, Annie Lennox, Londonbeat also Various classical music/opera and many other projects.I then started working as engineer for Anxious Records / Music, the In House label at The Church as well as for Milo Music/Garden Studios Ltd in a freelance capacity.During 1996, I was invited by Mark Crabtree, the managing director of Ams Neve in Burnley, Lancashire to work as a freelance test consultant to "bug test" the Ams Neve Libra virtual analogue digital mixing console. This involved successfully producing, recording and mixing an album in my own purpose built studio environment. At the same time ironing out any bugs with the console software with the research & development department.In 2003 I started at the London Centre of Contemporary Music on a freelance basis tutoring on their HND-NVQ Studio and Computer music production course. This involves teaching all aspects of studio production, including analogue, digital recording micing, fx, mixing and how to run and produce a successful session. On the computer side of the course I teach Logic Pro 7 from beginners to advanced usage.To date: working as a freelance Producer /Engineer/Sound Designer in London and around the country on a wide variety of projects.
