Band Members: Louise Peacock AKA Shady Rosy - singer songwriter and lead vocals
Tony Laviola - Bass guitar and stand-up bass. Tony is a well respected jazz player in Toronto. He also plays Country, Blues and Rock.
Tony has been doing the arrangements for Louise's songs in the past few months, and will also be co-writing - both lyrics and music. Tony's musical abilities will great enhance Louise's songwriting abilities. they make a great songwriting team.
Influences: Louise's influences come from classical, Jazz and Country.
Her favorite artists include The Beatles, Beethoven and Bach, Bonnie Rait, Billy Joel, Norah Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Milt Jackson, Dave Brubeck, Weather Report, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Nash the Slash - just to name a few
What provides Louise with her inspiration for songs? She writes about people, experiences, emotions, events and places.
Her song, Life Without Lolly, which is a tribute to her friend Laurel Long, came about as a result of a telephone conversation with Laurel's husband, shortly after Laurel left this world. It was not a concious thing, the words and melody just came into her head one day, and refused to leave. She recorded the song about a month later.
