Receording Engineer, Music Producer and DJ Born an raised in Washington D.C. working on a wide variety of music from D.C.’s own GO-GO to Country, Classical, Gospel, R&B, and Rap. Moved to NYC 1994 after co-producing and releasing club hit single THE WATER DANCE by artist and now 95FM WPGC’s DJ FLEXX. While attending The Institute of Audio Research, worked as an intern at the hip hop hot spot Firehouse Recording Studio. Among those recording were Wu Tang Clan, Method Man, ODB, Master Ace, and a list of A, B, and C list clients. Working mainly as the asst. engineer to Carlos Best, Wu Tangs main engineer. At the same time interning in many other studios in the New York area. One of these studios was The House of Sound, which was newly opened and owned by the top pop group C&C Music Factory. Learning from Bob Rosa, and Acar Key who were the head mixing and tracking engineers. Also learning from the late David Cole produce there hit records. In August 1995, began to work as an asst engineer at another newly open studio, Daddy’s House Recording Studio, which belonged to the owner of BAD BOY Records, Sean ‘Puff Daddy’ Combs. 112, Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, The LOX, JZ, Lil KIM, Capone and Noreaga, are just a small sample of the artist that were signed to label or working at Daddy’s House at the time. Engineers included, Prince Charles Alexander, Tony Maserati and a list of other top shelf engineers of the time. Assisting on many in house and outside projects, also recording production sessions for producers Chucky Thompson, Nashiem Marick, The Neptunes, Derrick ‘D-Dot’ Angelette, Ron ‘Amen Ra’ Lawrence, The TrackMasters, and Rodney Jerkins to name a few. In 1996 moved to Rochester, NY. to manage Dehjalon Recording Studio and work with the in house production staff on various projects from R&B, Gospel, T.V. and Radio shows. There worked with D’Vonte, and Dru Hill. Still traveling back to NYC to work on various artist like Kelly Price, and SWV. Moving back to NYC worked on the Life After Death album with The Notorious B.I.G.. Mainly freelancing for the next few years working with artist like 50cent, Blaque, Nas, Neptunes, Kid Karpi, TLC, Donnell Jones, Puff Johnson, Brian McKnight, and AZ. In 1999, earned a Grammy nomination for Bad Boy Artist MA$E smash release Harlem World. Before that was a major contributor to the Puff Daddy and the Family No Way Out album which won Grammy for Rap album of the year. While presently the Managing Director of Daddy’s House Recording Studio, continues to freelance for a variety of projects including sound editing, audio mixing and audio sweetening for Black Entertainment Television shows like Access Granted, 106 & Park, and Rap City.
