Bill Pettaway was born William E. Pettaway, Jr., on November 1, 1960 in Annapolis, Maryland. He began his music career at the age of 11, playing guitar. After High School, Bill graduated from Southwestern Guitar Institute in Texas. He co-wrote Milli Vanillis multi-platinum single, Girl You Know Its True, and played guitar on countless hit records. Bill is also credited with discovering multi-platinum Arista Records recording artist (and now Broadway star) Toni Braxton. During his storied career, Bill Pettaway has become one of the most knowledgeable, hardworking, and dedicated executives in the music & entertainment industry.
