LATEST NEWS!!!
Oh My God! November 17,2006 was an incredible night for me. Just when you think life throws you one of those dirty curve balls, it suddenly turns sweet. I was in Annapolis MD to see Rachelle Ferrell in concert(which is always a thrill) and as an added bonus, who should I see playing bass for her? None other than the absolutely lovely Ms. Rhonda Smith! How much better can life get? For all you non-bass players out there wonderring who Rhonda is, she's the funky/sexy bass player for His Royal Badness, Prince. Check out her MySpace page in my top friends list, and grab her cd's...they're both great! Rachelle and her manager have treated me so kindly and made me feel special by giving me the VIP treatment at her shows that my heart felt compelled to grace them with a gift. Check them out in my photo section.

MORE NEWS!!!
Wow! This MySpace stuff really works!! I was very surprised to log onto MySpace today to get a friend request from someone who I haven't seen in almost 5 years. David Marion and I met back in 2002 at Victor Wooten's Bass-Nature camp at Montgomery Bell State Park outside Nashville,TN. It was early spring, it was cold and wet out, and the accomodations defenitely weren't four star by hotel standards. But I have to say it was the best vacation of my life so far, mostly because it was all about the music...or so we all thought. Most of us who attended Vic's camp did so with the pretense of gaining insight of learning to play like the Great One himself, but came away learning more about ourselves instead. The best part, other than getting to study with great musicians and teachers, is the chance to meet other bass players from around the world...60 bass players, in fact. That's right, I said around the world, because we came from all over, everywhere from Alaska to Florida to Brazil to France...and speaking of France, that's exactly where my friend David is from...Paris, to be exact. So you can imagine my surprise at his request, after losing touch with him 4 years ago. It's good to see that he's doing well and still keeping it funky on the low end theory, and definitely good to be back in touch. Check out his page in my Top Friends list, and check out this photo of the two of us back in the day in Tennessee.

My Other Intrest!!!
I also do photography, and this I'm now in my second year towards doing it as a professional. I just created this slideshow to show of a few examples of my work. This is only the beginning....the ride gets more exciting from this point.
I'm also an assistant to Maryland-based fashion and promo photographer Roy Cox. See if you can catch a glimpse of me in this promo video of a recent photoshoot!
