With over 20 years in the business, Bob Rosa's recording career has encompassed every genre of music, mixing some of the biggest Pop, Rock, Dance, R&B and Latin hits. From Christina Aguilera to Zebra, scores of multi-platinum albums and singles bear his signature mixes. One of his first recording projects was working on the landmark Hip-Hop classic "Planet Rock" (the first 12" single to go Gold) by Afrika Bambaataa and Soul Sonic Force. He went on to mix the classic dance hit "Gonna Make You Sweat" (5 million units) by C&C Music Factory; one of Whitney Houston's premier singles, "I'm Every Woman," from the best selling soundtrack of all time, "The Bodyguard" (17 million units); Mariah Carey's "Emotions" (4 million units); *NSYNC's "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You" from their self-titled album (10 million units).
He also received two Grammy nominations for Best Dance Track for remixes of Gloria Estefan's "Heaven's What I Feel" and "Don't Let This Moment End" (both produced by Dance music legend Tony Moran), a Latin Grammy win in 2002 for his work on Alejandra Guzman's "Soy" lp (produced by Desmond Child), and a Grammy win for the Best Reggae Album by Toots & The Maytals in 2005 ("True Love").
In 2005 and 2006, Bob's mixes topped the Billboard Dance Charts with Jenna Drey's "Killing Me', "Why Should I Believe You" and "By The Way", and had a Number One on the same chart with Christina Aguilera's "Hurt", remixed with DJ Jonathan Peters.
One of Bob's current projects is producing, recording and mixing rock band BIG BANG RADIO's debut album "To Mars From Babylon". BBR went all the way to the Top 3 out of 7,300 bands in the first ever nation wide BODOG MUSIC BATTLE OF THE BANDS, which was seen every Wednesday @ 10PM on FUSE-TV. BBR's debut single, "Radio", is enjoying the Number 1 spot on the Podcast Music Countdown as the most played song on internet podcasts WORLDWIDE.
Projects currently in progress include mixing and/or mastering for artists such as Venus Casino (UK), Sonia Pagan, Ari Gold and DJ Jonathan Peters.
