Duran Ramos

UPDATE:
Recently, Duran has partnered up with film industry's Efrain Cortes to form POMPA Films, a film production company located in Studio City, California.
As a singer/writer/producer, Duran has worked on such major motion films like "The Bodyguard" starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" starring Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, Hilary Swank, and Luke Perry, "I Like It Like That" starring Jon Seda (Selena, Bad Boy II) and Lauren Velez (Law & Order, Numb3rs) and "Ready to Wear" starring Julia Roberts and Tim Robbins.
As an assistant director, Efrain Cortes has worked on many major motion films such as the soon to be released "Yes Man" starring Jim Carrey, "Get Smart", "Changeling", "Cloverfield" and "The Longest Yard" to name a few. Some of his television credits include "Desperate Housewives", "Greek", "The O.C.", "Carnivàle", "Medium", and "Crossing Jordan".
POMPA Films is currently in negotiation to partner with a legendary hip hop pioneer for his life story.

Duran is also Co-Owner and acting General Manager of IPI Records. He is working on launching the career of a young artist by the name of Shari Farmer p.k.a. Shari who is a phenomenal singer/songwriter. He has helped to oversee the completion of her new debut album, as well as, co-write and produce the project featuring band members of The Calling and Pink. Besides Shari, Duran is working to develop another extremely talented up and coming artist by the name of Early Ray Borden.
Currently, IPI is branching into film production and is reviewing scripts to take into production in the beginning of the year.
Aside from the music and film, Duran is a teacher and presenter for Pure Energy, a program that teaches our youth about the choice of abstinence and the consequences of sex before marriage.
