Dutch trashpop band Zomotta is throwing songs with a twist of anything into the world since about 1998. Until last year, their albums were well received with local press. In 2005, their latest release 'Call 4 Glory' (distributed by the fine people of De Konkurrent) was well-received by the media. Next, Zomotta appeared in numerous magazines and radioshows, and toured with bands like Art Brut, Sweatmaster, Magnapop, or Danko Jones on some of the finest stages in the Netherlands. In 2006, they will be working on their newest step towards world domination.
By the way, Zomotta is dutch for 'This is how to do it!'
"Snarling guitars, raw rhythm & blues, explosive garagepunk and
humorous trash, Zomotta's got it all."

These are a bunch of coherent rocksongs, worthy of praise.. Stoic like the Jesus & Mary Chain, sharp as the Pixies, and with dirty, blunt T-rex like riffs. Bravo! "

"The band performs their "trash pop", as they refer to it, in quite a schizophrenic way. This entails that some songs are quiet, enduring and sometimes even hypnotising, while other tracks sound more powerful and rebellious."
