The M.A.R.S and Venus Solution (The M.a.V.S.) started for about two years ago when the two main members Sjors (van Straten) en Martin (Kuijstermans), decided it became time that the songs they had written until then had to be recorded.At that moment they had done nothing for about a year after breaking up their former band (The Wasted Days Of... with Roy S. (=Roy Santiago) on drums). But what they didn't stop doing was writing a load of new songs, alone and together. This give them for about fifty reasons to start a new project (=band).It was then that they asked Ruut (van Andel) to come and play the drums in their new band, which had actualy at that moment not realy a name. Ruut is Lawaii (he is the composer and writer of many great songs|).When Ruut joined they did practice the songs with him (for about six weeks, cause to much practice would kill the songs...uh?). In the summer of 2006 they started recording the songs by Partick Delabie in studio 195, Werhout, Noord Brabant, the Netherlands, near the Belgium border.The good thing about all the members is that they all can play a number of instruments. Which is very handy when you are recording songs.... ??!In the Spring of 2007 their first to be released album has to come out, called: 'At Home their are plenty of fish in the sea'. Till then you'll have to do with the songs which will be put on myspace.com.Hopefully after the release we can start a tour through out the local clubs in the Netherlands and who knows where this all will lead us to!!!!??For now we say listen to the songs and convince yourself if this will be the ERA OF THE M.A.R.S. AND VENUS SOLUTION!! or THE ERROR OF..... ?
