Marcel died on the 20th of January 2007. Since end of November 2006 he was in hospital because of very severe pain in his head and neck and because he fainted once in a while. Begin of December he and we learned that he had cancer in his brain liquor and he would not get better.About his life he told himself:Listening to new music and looking for new bands is a big thrill for me. My favourite festivals include Go North in Aberdeen,In The City in Manchester and T in the Park, near Kinross.I'm a DJ at the Melkweg,Paradiso(both Amsterdam) and Rotown (Rotterdam), before and after gigs of bands like Interpol, Kasabian, the Kills, maximo Park, Editors, Supergrass, Arctic Monkeys, Art Brut, Subways, Radio 4, Kooks, Feeder etc.Besides that I'm always looking for new stand-up comedy acts in The Netherlands. I do bookings for Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam.I love travelling. Recently to the Fjords in Norway. I spend a lot of my time with my two sons (2,5 yrs and 1 year old) and my girlfriend.
