Long before there were the Jerky Boys, or anyone else, we were making and recording prank phone calls. If you lived in Jersey City or the surrounding area and were brave enough to pick up a phone in any of the smelly and noisy gin mills that existed every twenty feet, we probably prank-called you!
Over the years, we have been immitated in one form or another, from The Simpsons, or blurbs on MTV, to movies like Red and Porky's ("Is Mike Hunt there?"), to mentions and samplings on numerous rock and heavy metal albums. Our calls have even been featured on "The Howard Stern show" and "The Opie & Anthony show" on a regular basis.
Now, you can finally purchase all the Bum Bar Bastards calls directly from iTunes. Please visit our iTunes Page for details.
We have released a ton of previously unreleased Red calls. That's right, NEW Red calls which are found on the Tavern Tour tape and has recently been digitally remastered on the DVD/CD set (out of print) but is available in audio format from our iTunes Page. It also features, in addition to Red, calls to other area bars with patrons just as pissed off and ready to murder us as Red was! Plus a ton of pictures of John Elmo and Jim Davidson - the way they looked when the calls were made. In fact we went out so far, the cover of the DVD/CD is the actual house all the calls were made from!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BUM BAR BASTARDS NOW AVAILABLE ON ITUNES!
At long last, the first collection of classic crank phone calls made by the Bum Bar Bastards are now available for download on itunes!
These pranks were recorded during the 80's and have been circulating around colleges for the last 20 years on bootlegged cassettes.
Now, for the first time, they have been digitally re-mastered and are authorized for release on the T.A. Productions record label by the Bum Bar Bastards themselves: John Elmo and Jim Davidson.
These hilarious recordings (as heard on The Howard Stern show), have spawned many imitators and inspired countless others (including the Jerky Boys). We've all heard their catch phrases, but you can now hear the original calls from which these saying came from!
As an added bonus, two re-mixed music tracks are included that combine the music of Tim Branom along with the voice of "Red" spouting off his verbal attack against the tirades of the Bum Bar Bastards!
Listen to a clip before you buy:
Entire album download: $9.99
