SOULKILL Was formed in late july of 2006.
Rendering an earthquake in Solon Maine may be no easy task, Unless of course,you are member of SoulKill. From the confines of a late 19th century farmhouse, Inwich the floor above the barn shakes in fear of collapse, This veteran metal band makes moves toward being a definitive force in the local scene, What sets these four men apart in the onslaught of Maine metal is primarily their lack of nonsense, from the "wake your ass up" lyrical content and musical drive, to the way they conduct themselves in the metal scene itself. Formidable as the shadow of a constantly growing local band line-up has been, SoulKill has diversified itself as an unforgetable entity.Musicianship is second nature to SoulKill, within the roots of their songs and the influences in the band's style. Amongst the member's- Ken(on vocals), Shannon(on guitar), Al(on bass), Cory(on drums) they play towards the intention of never sacrificing each other's aspiration to do this. To ride the metal theme park attraction as far as it goes. The instrumental portion of this small town group has been enthusiastic since the addition of Ken on lead vocals(in 2006), as he leads the live performances with vocal authority via a 30 ft. cable leash. With each new song and each new venue, SoulKill progresses as the band that pleases the fans, and never leaves them without first administering a serious soul thrashing.
