RED CLOUD REVIVAL represents a view from the bottom rung of the ladder. RCR is the blue collar on the shirt of the working class. This is a band coming from the eyes and the minds of the poor, the oppressed, the downtrodden, the people who make the gears of society spin. RED CLOUD REVIVAL is the question that taunts authority and the injustice that plagues earth. The band name is inspired by the great Native American chief, Red Cloud. Red Cloud, of Sioux heritage, acquired a reputation as a leader, fierce warrior, and a man of pronounced cruelty to enemies of his people. He eventually became the only Native chief to win a war with the United States. The origin of the name is disputed, but is said to refer to the way in which his scarlet-blanketed warriors formerly covered the hillsides like a red cloud. In a washed up music industry of watered down clone bands and monkeys in suits manipulating strings, RED CLOUD REVIVAL offer a sense of hope to a landscape full of pretenders. This band creates and plays from the heart, a concept that 93% of these so called recording artists cannot grasp. There is no candy coated bullshit here. This is the original truth and reality will not be ignored any longer. RED CLOUD REVIVAL is a band of life and death, love and hate, politics and spiritualism, understanding and confusion. Combining these lyrical concepts with some bad ass Rock & Roll and an inebreating live performance, RCR is THE NOW and WHAT IS TO COME.RED CLOUD REVIVAL is a band consisting of five generals. Originated in Maine, the highest state in the continental United States of America, RCR has graced stages from the streets of New York City to the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. Good people of earth, keep tabs on THE REVIVAL because they are waging a war on mediocrity and taking names. So the next time you see 'em, RAISE YOUR FIST TO THE SKY 'cause there is a RED CLOUD on the horizon.....
