During his two years with Illnioz, Strong had conducted live interviews with such artists as Phife Dog (of Tribe Called Quest), Maestro, Fat Lip (Pharcyde), Jeru the Damaja, and Wayne Wonder.In 2001 Strong moved to commercial radio by becoming a weekend on-air personality on Flow 93.5. Then, in a matter of months, he advanced to the position of lead on-air personality and producer of the morning show The Morning Rush.
