Prepare as I unload the full force of my Brain.......now in small trickles for the moment

About Me

...............................Click the Pic to go to my website ....................................................Hey folks- just wanted to say thanks for stopping by.I'm an artist amongst other things- none of which can thankfully be ever called a "proper job"I mainly draw storyboards and concept art for films such as Land of the Dead, Four Brothers, 16 Blocks, Resident Evil Apocalypse and many more. Before that I was comic artist. I worked for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse and 2000ad. I even spent a year and half working for Stan Lee on his unpublished Excelsior line. Fun but movies were always more of my thing.I'm here to meet folk and just have a chat about stuff that interests me.I'm also crap at typing to yes- there are mistakes.....

My Interests

I'm always interested- most of the time. If you see my eye's glazing over or I just cut you off mid sentence- I'm not interested anymore- sorry!

I'd like to meet:

I've met a good few of them so I'll see who turns up! Probably move like who I'd like to work with would be a better question. I've been lucky enough to work with lot of great people and by chance some of the people whose work I admire.Did meet these guys at work one day.Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg- though sadly they were already dead!

Music:

anything happy and not about murdering people- to drown out the voices- oh wait- Tom Waits, The Pixies, Ween, , Beta Band, Goodbye Mr Mackenzie- sadly missed- , I dunno- far far too many to mention. Varied and sometime a strange mix- whatever takes my fancy- just none of those twangy guys who are like 40 but singing about how "noone understands yhewwwwwww" and all that shit- give it a rest will you?

Movies:

the one with Lou Gosset Jnr and Paris Hilton where they have to pose as undercover Zoo Keepers and end up winning the respect of a HippoSeriously though- The Thing, Star Wars, Devil's Backbone, American Werewolf in London, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Blade Runner, Night of the Demon - hunt it out if you've not seen it.Old Ray Harryhausen films, good horror movies- actually they don't even have to be that good- a good bit of 80's rubber smiling thing with teeth type stuff. Or even just cheap and cheerful crap! Love it! Devil's Rejects, Almost anything by John Carpenter and just about all from George Romero. Stuart Gordon's films are always good especially From Beyond and that last Masters of Horror he did was amazing, Evil Dead, Brain Dead(Dead Alive). Stephen Spielberg movies .... I could go on but there's noone reading this so I won't!

Television:

I'm changing this. It used to say "Heroes- it's just THE best show on TV" It's not anymore cos it's dull as all hell these days- I just don't give a crap about it anymore which is a shame cos I don't watch much TV these days and the last thing I want is to be bored. And I'm VERY bored with it these days. First season was great though....apart from the last episode which was shite........also, South Park, Simpsons, Buffy, Angel, Farscape-very under rated, Spaced, Operation Good Guys, The Office, Father Ted, Fast Show, getting into 24, Futurama, Family Guy, The Mighty Boosh, Vic Reeves,Xfiles were good- and Lost- cos I am an indiviual

Books:

They make those into movies right? No really I can read ....but my typung sicks. The Dark Knight Returns, Year One, The Man without Fear, Marshall Law, Bone, Domu, Akira, From Hell, Daredevil Born Again, Electra Assassin, HP Lovecraft, Douglas Adams ,Neil Gaiman, Lord of the Flies, Skin Tight- actually most Carl Hiaasen, Stephen King, Clive Barker, Spike Milligan, loads more comics and book - I'm sick of typing cos my typing is crap and this is taking me ages. You've got a small list- be happy with it and run with it! Ok!

Heroes:

Jim Henson- there are loads more but I might end up meeting them and dont want them to have upper hand. I can, sadly, be certain never meet Jim Henson. I would have loved to have met him to say thank you.
