About Me

Come listen to the Fresh Roots sound known as Whirled Beet! The Beet meshes Rock with Funk, Folk, Jazz and Blues to create a sound all of their own. The Whirled Beet is a live music act that wins crowds over where ever they play.The Whirled Beet is an eclectic group of musicians and songwriters centered in Lancaster/Kershaw, SC. Originally a three piece, they now encompass everything from turntables to even a banjo in their live shows. Proving that great music does not have to be overproduced, just produced great.The members combine their different musical backgrounds, classical training on percussion, piano, guitar, bass, and even the violin, to bring something extraordinary to the live stage. The band has entertained audiences for the last three years with their live act in music festivals, concert halls, lounges, coffee shops, and your local pubs . From Myrtle Beach to Nashville. From local venues: Smokey Joe's Cafe, Club Bleu, Cop~A~Squat Coffeehouse, Main Street Live, The Evening Muse, New Brooklyn Tavern, The Money, Stress Factory, and Group Therapy .....to larger venues: Headliner's, Springmaid Beach Resort, Indian Land Elementry School Festival, Tremont Music Hall, Sylvia Theather, and The Country Music Hall of Fame Lounge.There first albumn is still in the werks with alot of surprises to come soon!
