In 1999 Wit started E-mailing his Haiku poetry to family, friends and co-workers. From these meager beginnings Secrets to the Universe was born. People quickly started passing on Wit's poetry and the list of readers grew. Wit later added thought-provoking (sometimes controversial) observations to his E-mailings.
Working in the electronic industry for over a decade, Wit found solace from the high paced and stressful industry with the observation and writing of nature and the human condition. Many of Wit's readers could identify with the high stresses in their own lives and took refuge in the reading and contemplating of the little moment that Wit shared.
Wit is the first to state that his writing style of Haiku does not always follow the strict rules set down centuries ago. Taking these artistic liberties has enlightened, entertained , and challenged his readers. Wit believes that this is what has led to the popularity of his writings.

War is evil.
It always has been and always will be.
There is no such thing as a, "Just War", "Righteous War", "Holy War".
War turns ALL who participate, proliferate, and tolerate it, into devils.
None is immune.
None is forgiven.

The President
" The President-Single " was released worldwide and on iTunes on October 20th, 2004.
"ThePresident" is a song written and preformed by Wit . It is a serious piece from an idealistic point of view of the most important office in the world.
" The President " is the third track to the studio album (Wit is in the final stages). " The President " is story about Timmy, one of the characters I introduce in another song on the studio album. His parents tell him that he could grow up and be the President. He takes this to heart and learns what the office really means and what it takes.
In the story we see Timmy saying, like a mantra, that he wants to be The President. Later in the song, we see he gains more confidence and is willing to sacrifice more. As Timmy gets more determined, his sacrifice becomes more apparent.
I have put other musical innuendos in to this song, but that is for my fans to discover.
Is The President a protest song?
It can be a song of praise or protest. It is actually a song of hope.
The song, “The President†is an ideal that one who seeks that position should be. Actually, anyone who seeks public office should listen to the message. It shows the better qualities of leadership we should all honor.
In recent years, the frustration of the current administration has caused listeners to view the song as a protest against the administration.
In the very beginning of the song, I have the actual oath the President of the United States of America takes when he/she is sworn into office. The President swears to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
As for the current administration, the Constitution has been attacked and mutilated not protected.
I am insulted that the current administration thinks we are so ignorant. The Patriot Act is a blatant violation upon our freedoms we hold true and evident.
They have failed us.
Acclaim for, "ThePresident".
Now here's an interesting song, a song that re-examines the idealistic embodiment of the office of the President of the United States. Something most people would agree has been missing from our current political arena. "
The President " is certainly not something that I expected, but I'm happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised by Wit.
The six minute track by the artist known as Wit, takes an honest look at the Presidential position from two different view points: One of a child who dreams of one day being the President of the United States and the second of a man becoming President who seems uncorrupted by the typical political power that compromises a man prior to his achieving the office.
To categorize " The President " as a simple pop song is doing it a great injustice. " The President " boldly stands out on its own as art, while maintaining the equilibrium between left and right, conscious and subconscious, the circus and the serious, the harmonious and the dissident, the weak and the strong; all of this being superimposed with and innocent naiveté... " The President " is a symbolic ideal that becomes a larger truth.
" The President " seems to be a song of hope, even if it seems like an unbelievable idea. I mean who becomes the President of the United States without a hidden agenda? Well, Wit gives us a look at the possibility of seeing a man who has the cajones to stand up for what the office expects. Now, who wouldn't love to see this song in action? - Reviews By Matthew
" Okay, you gotta get this song out before the election. -G. H. "
" This song is scary. I never realized the importance of what I was voting for. I will never disregards my vote again. -E.S. "
" Is this song satire or is it the truth? -B.C "
" Wit has successfully pointed his finger at the most powerful position in the world. -M. G. "
