DJ, Music Producer & Creative Artist of underground electronic dance music. Taking on all areas of Progressive, Breaks, Techno, House, Electro & Dubstep. Varying from deep, minimal sounds through to hard driving nu-skool beats...Tech-funk is often used as the 'catch-all' term to describe what you'll hear - a unique blend of breaks, house, techno & electro and all points in between...Alex Braknys first began to experiment with the production of electronic music at just 12 years of age with the heavy inspiration of the Prodigy's early releases; Music for the jilted generation & Experience.
Alex then attempted mixing records at 14 with a strong passion for electronic music with the emphasis of an underground edge. Production wise he had already done at 18 what most teenagers dream of. His tune 'Reality Fault' was praised to him in an E-Mail by the one and only Anthony Pappa & soon signed to EDM digital records, charted in the top 5 tracks for the entire month of April in 2005. Now 20, He has just signed 4 releases of his original material with remixes to new Sydney based label BambamMuzik with his Nightlife EP to bre released June 07. And an offer to release his debut Artist album late 2007 + More tracks are due for release in the near future on Stigma records. As a DJ, Alex in 2007 alone has has supported DJs such as: 30Hz, Boabinga, (The Bodysnatchers), DJ Friendly, Bass Kleph, Dopamine, Karton, K Oscillate, Break & Fierce and more. Alex is now strongly influenced by the works of artists such as Elite Force, Hybrid, Prodigy, Uberzone, Andy Page, Son Of The Electric Ghost, Ritchie Hawtin, Nubreed, Phil K, SKC, Skream, John Digweed & the list could go on. Evidence of the diverse influence Alex has in is music covering all corners of Electronica.
