Peter Paul, born in Seville, Spain on December ‘76, Dj & Producer since 1992. Precursor of the Breakbeat scene in Spain through his experience in the Dj world and later in the studio, Peter released his first record in 1995 under the pseudonym “The Second Effect”, a white label that took the group to the big stages. Second Effect was a live group that dominated breakbeats with Techno influences. Peter had his second release on Seven Records with two tracks that are recently making a comeback in the Retro scene in Spain. Recently, from 2002 onwards he has also won various national awards in the DJOne and Deejay Mag ceremonies in Barcelona (Best Compilation, Best Breaks Dj, Best Label N-Mity Sound, etc). Peter has appeared several times on national television (TVE1) djing for the whole of Spain and on satellite for the ‘Musica1’ program. Later he’s appeared as well on other Tv channels such as ‘CanalSur’ TV. Peter’s also performed in a multitude of clubs and events including Festivals, playing for crowds of over 10.000 assistants. Aside from spanning the Spanish Club scene, he’s also had the pleasure of Dj-ing in Germany, Italy, Poland, Hungary , Australia, Latvia, England, Portugal and a long etc. Peter Paul created his own label, N-Mity Sound, releasing tracks such as ‘Nu-Odisea’, ‘Addiction’, ‘Touchdown’, ‘Level Ready’, ‘Surline’, ‘Crazyline’, ‘Monsterblack’, ‘Nu Posesion’, ‘Album Samplers’, that gave Peter his identity in the international scene along with other releases on labels such as Natural Breaks like ‘Sexy Tech’, ‘More Tekila’ on the ibreaks label that was remixed by Slyde, ‘Runner’, ‘My Heroine’, ‘Music Express Myself’, many of which receiving international support from international DJ’s on Radio as much as in the Clubs. A regular appearance of his tracks on the Annie Nightingale show also led recently to a guest mix appearance. As a producer, Peter continues on the right track, growing and searching for the perfect sound, learning more about music day by day. Working with labels such as N-mity, NBR, Selecta Breaks, Sinister recordings or Lot 49, to mention a few. His debut on Lot49 with “Cristalline” includes a remix by Paranoid Jack and his second production on this label was “Reverendo” with a remix by Deep Impact. These tracks have received massive Dj support being played at clubs all over the world by artists such as: Eric Morillo, , Meat Katie, Dylan Rhymes, Rennie Pilgrem ,Xpress2, Hector Romero, Layo & Bushwacka, Satoshi Tomiie ,Elite Force,Jds, Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), Friendly, General Midi, Stimpy, Danny Mcmillan, Lee coombs, The plump djs, James Zabiela, Fergie, Anne Savage, Force Mass Motion, Hybrid, The Crystal Method, Koma & Bones, The Stanton Warriors, Blim, Uberzone, Krafty kuts, Jay cunning, Audiofly, King unique etc... “More Tekila” has also been a great hit and a perfect example of Peter Paul’s style, a fusion of Tech- Break that can still be heard at the best events and clubs worldwide. Highlighting a remix of Mephisto Odissey’s track, “Superphonic”, licensed through N-mitysound and a new remix of Introspective’s “Devil Theory”, Sinister Recordings. These tracks being played by artists such as Christopher Lawrence who love Tech- Breaks and Techno 2007 is going to be another busy year, with Peter in the studio preparing his new tracks and remixes as well as several tours which include Australia and Europe.
