Movies:

An Inconvenient Truth.
Scaremongering and over hyped publicity?
Far from it! - Wake up and click the link below:
WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW?! is a new type of film. It is part documentary, part story, and part elaborate and inspiring visual effects and animations. The protagonist, Amanda, played by Marlee Matlin , finds herself in a fantastic Alice in Wonderland experience when her daily, uninspired life literally begins to unravel, revealing the uncertain world of the quantum field hidden behind what we consider to be our normal, waking reality.
The film employs animation to realize the radical knowledge that modern science has unearthed in recent years. Powerful cinematic sequences explore the inner-workings of the human brain. Quirky animation introduces us to the smallest form of consciousness in the body – the cell. Dazzling visuals reinforce the film’s message in an exciting, powerful way. Done with humor, precision, and irreverence, these scenes are only part of what makes this film unique in the history of cinema, and a true box-office winner.

Television:

Your Man's Puppets - Convince this man to create some more on-line material - call him, e-mail him and be his champion!
A rough shot idea on some UltanJohn material filmed in just a few minutes! [Creation of main puppet created over a number of months].

Great injection of character into John portrayed with conviction. Below, you'll find a NEW ADDITION to the world of Tommy Baker - the Ultan (UltanJohn) head in the making.

"Lady’s & Gentlemen Mr. Your Mans Puppets "

From the budding media school of Mr. Colin Arnold comes a short final year music project -DJ Shadow's The Organ Donor. Colin has been creating music propelled video creations for sometime now and recently shot the Grass Roots music documentary for the Guilfest 2006 Music Festival in Reading. Shear determination, drive and will-power will show this young artist great reward in a few more years - mark my words.

Books:

God - Where to start?

Here is a list of some books I've read down through the years....in no particular order:

"The Power Of Now" - by Eckhart Tolle ,
"Life Of Pi" by Yann Martel ,
"The Celestine Prophecy" & "The Tenth Insight" by James Redfield ,
"Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson" by George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff [Had to walk away from this book after 80 pages - it's a deep one],
"On Single Combat" by Grandmaster Prof. Keith R.Kernspecht ,
"A Book of Five Rings" by Miyamoto Musashi ,
"John Martyn: Grace & Danger" by Lee Barry
"Mutant Message Down Under" by Marlo Morgan

Heroes:

Well - we all have 'Heroes' in life, there's no doubt about it. The people I've admired most are those who continue to excel in their profession despite all adversities that may stand in their way. Two people here John Conneely and John Martyn are top on my list.
Here's John Conneely on his final performance as Charis front man in the Róisín Dubh (Galway) in August 2006 performing Desert Dark Sky.

John Martyn "I'd Rather Be The Devil" - BBC - Old Grey Whistle Test - [The voice of Bob Harris ]

I never fully appreciated the power of this speech until very recently (Jan '07). Just had to add it under the heroes section - I'd say Charlie Chaplin was one hell of a character to have spent time with years ago.
