Café Minor was established by four travelling musicians who had all came to Galway because of their passion for music. After meeting up in sessions and busking in the streets the band was finally formed in the summer of 2006.
Here dear reader, you can listen to some of the tracks of their debut album.There are three Swedes and one Finn in the band, all with different musical influences which gives their repertoire huge variety. Gypsy and klezmer would be the main part of their repertoire but also Finnish, Swedish and American tunes and songs. Over the last year Café Minor has been playing gigs around Galway and West of Ireland and also went on a tour to Holland. While you most of the times would see Café Minor playing in the pubs around Galway, they often also get bookings for weddings and other functions.
