Then at the age of 11, a revelation......Electric Guitarrrrrrrr! Pick slides! Melodic Rock. Shit with substance, and not the same crap repeated over and over again. Early stuff from UFO, Scorpions, Priest, Good Rats, Pat Travers, Triumph, Thin Lizzy, Bad Company, Rainbow (with Ronnie James Dio, who has one of the most kickass rock voices EVER!), Blackfoot, Budgie, Starz, Montrose, Legs Diamond, Moxy, and more. I have a major soft spot in my heart for the legendary Irish guitarist, Rory Gallagher. Michael Schenker and Uli Jon Roth are my two most favoritestestest guitarists of all time! Nowadays, anything that moves me, or makes me move, which includes my old favs, some modern/alternative rock. Check out young, up-and-coming female guitarist, Kristen Capolino! That girl shoots flames off her Flying V! Also Matt O'Ree for his killer guitar-driven Rock/Blues style and ability to make you feel. Lord of the Rings, The Wedding Singer, Legends of the Fall (for obvious reasons), Perfect storm, Saving Private Ryan, Titanic. I do way better with "name that tune" than "name that actor or movie" anyway!
