About Me

I played in bands from roughly 1977-1985. Since then I have not had the time to commit to playing in a band as other more important matters came up in my life. The bands I did play in were: Style-X, Midnight Rambler,Traction, The Precious Few, The Strand, and Neon Tan. Since then I have continued to play mostly on my own. I did give it a try a couple of times in the past ten years with getting back into playing in bands but things didn't pan out based on my limited ability to commit. Neon Tan did some studio stuff in 1982-83 that is available on Cd.As for my musical equipment on these scratch tracks ...I play mostly Gibsons...except the bass which has recently been a Fender Precision I play an old '71 Gibson SG and sometimes my Goldtop Gibson Les Paul. I play slide with a Gibson Flying V and the action raised. Gibson Thunderbird bass on the early tracks, and the some guitar solo's(Rat Trap) courtesy of a borrowed Fender Strat. The acoustic is a Washburn Cumberland and I use it w/ a bottleneck slide. Yamaha Keys, and percussion courtesy of Korg, Roland, and Alesis where my fingers do some of the rythms but most are preprogrammed. All recorded tracks I did myself on a KorgD16XD...these are scratch tracks and just a way to get some of my original stuff out there until the day comes when I am able to commit to playing in a band again.
