I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am the third generation of musicians in my family and after listening to ART BLAKEY, ELVIN JONES, PHILLY JOE JONES, JOE MORELLO, MITCH MITCHELL, GINGER BAKER, CHARLIE WATTS, and MAX ROACH, decided to become a drummer at the age of 15.... I currently record, tour, and perform with the fabulous organ trio "ORGANISSIMO" as well as freelancing and teaching drum lessons. I also work with prolific and soon to be famous musicians like STEVE TALAGA, DAVE HAY, and PAUL LESINSKI. And let's not forget the guitar wizard CARLOS MELENDEZ!

My Interests

Besides music I enjoy road and cross country mountain biking, lake and river kayaking, reading, and hiking.

I'd like to meet:

Roy Haynes, Jack DeJohnette, Trilok Gurtu, Carl Hiaasen, Al Gore, Jim Harrison, Larry David, Woody Allen, George Carlin, Robin Williams, George Carlin, and my favorite "Bush Basher" Bill Maher..

Love Link TV!One of my all time favorite cartoons is the South Park episode when scientist Randy Marsh (Stan's dad) is blamed for Global Warming because he tells everyone in the village to let out their farts! It's hilarious !!! lol

Books:

Anything by Carl Hiaasen, James Patterson, Steve Hamilton, Jim Harrison, Jack Kerouac, and one of my alltime faves is a satire written in the early 70's by satirist Alan Sherman, "Rape Of The Ape". It's a satirical look at the sex revolution in America. Frank Zappa's autobiography, "The Real Frank Zappa Book" which I highly recommend as required reading. Oscar peterson's autobiography is also a great read...

Heroes:

All the great jazz artists deceased and still with us (like Roy Haynes) who have, and continue to perpetuate great music that stands the test of time in spite of the troubled and fickled "entertainment economy" the commercial music business run mostly by greedy corporation executives only interested in huge profits.
