About Me

Hi! Thanks for checking out my page. A little about my musical activities:I've been playing for 30 years now; first folk, then bluegrass, rock, and now jazz and funk (for the past 18 years or so). The group which occupies most of my time is organissimo - please check out our various websites and CDs.I'm also teaching a lot these days, both privately and for the jazz program at Michigan State University, and excellent program which I'm happy to be a part of.One note about the composition "Dark Prism"; the recording on my page is actually unfinished, as there is a long open section after the guitar solo which is intended for another soloist. I play all the guitars, and my good friend Matthew Guggemos played drums. It was co-written with Glenn Brown, owner of Glenn Brown Productions, the great studio in East Lansing where we do much of our recording.
