About Me

Grammy nominated musician Sammy K is from Michigan, and now lives in LA. He is a proud member of the family at REMO Inc. as both a Drum Head Artist and a Drum Circle Facilitator. He is also a member of the Zildjian Educational Team and a Zildjian Drum Stick Artist. Sammy is an Endorser of Yamaha Drums, S-Hoops, Kotz Cajons, Factory Metal Percussion and an Associate Facilitator for UpBeat Drum Circles. Sammy appears internationally as a Guest Artist and Clinician as well as teaching his “Groove Boot Camp” program which includes a wide variety of styles for drummers of all levels. Some of the Artists and clients/producers that have utilized Sammy's musical skills include: Bob Hope, Daimler/Chrysler, The Walt Disney Company, The United Nations, Ray Bardani, Los Angeles Laker Band, Huge Groove, Phoebe Snow, Harry Connick Sr, Ted Perlman, Kate Minor, Travis Howard, Joe Turrano, Bobby Watson, Levi Kreis, ABC, Hal Leonard Publishing, Amy Cook, CBS and Ferrari. Sammy was a member of The United States Air Force Band of Flight, and toured the US extensively during his enlistment.
