¡Soy el hombre más hermoso del mundo!

About Me

Oh you wanna talk about me now, do ya? I like movies and work on them whenever I can. I've played drums and toured with a bunch of Detroit bands, like the Dirtys, the Buzzards, Dirtbombs (for a hot minute), Bantam Rooster, and the Seger Liberation Army. Also did the Luxury Rides, which finally saw the light of day thanks to Goodbye Boozy and Solid Sex Lovie Doll Records. It was all fun.. Sometimes too much. Now I'm in a band called the Moonlight with Dale of Bancroft Records, and also have just finished recording with Joe Dirty for the Beehive Recording Co. Yeah, I love to play, get me? But I want to do more film/video work, so that's why I'm back in school.
Here's a music video I made for the Buzzards back in 2001:
Here's another Buzzards video, done in 2006:
This is a public service announcement that I made about violence on television:
Yet another class project: Episode one of THE JOE DIRTY SHOW!! ..In which Mr. Dirty interviews Ben Blackwell..

My Interests

Movies (watching them, working on them, thinking about them), runk pock and other skewed muzak, seeing shows, travel, playing drums, takin' pictures, reading magazines movie scripts and how-to books, messin' around, making money and spending it almost as quick, drinking with friends and enemies alike, fall and winter, dogs and cats that aren't assholes (ie. reflections of their owners), learning all kinds of junk, flirting... and switchblades.

I'd like to meet:

My "buddy" Tom, so I can flick him in the nuts and tell him to amscray..
