About Me

So far, 1981 is an okay year. I just started working at this iron-on t-shirt place at the mall. We have iron-ons of every rock group you can imagine, plus unicorns and glitter letters and cool car designs and stuff. I mean, I like it, but I totally wouldn't work there if my parents weren't making me get a job. They let me wear what I want there, which is why I chose this place (other places didn't even want me wearing a headband around my head or my leg warmers - can you believe that bull?)

When I'm done with my four freaking hours of work, I go meet my friends (they all work at the mall too) for pizza and then we go ice skating at the rink in the mall or we go to the movies or surfing or to a party in the valley.

My Interests

Shopping at every mall, parties, jazz dance class, aerobics class, dancing, surfing, unicorns, purple, collecting buttons, collecting Smurf stuff (I even have Smurf buttons, but I mostly like buttons of funny sayings and of my favorite rock groups), going to the movies, talking on the phone, Garfield, getting new t-shirts made for me and my friends, cool cars, pizza, O.P. (that's Ocean Pacific in case you don't know).

I'd like to meet:

If you'd like to witness time travel, totally add Retropolis as a friend! Fer sure!

Music:

How can I name EVERYTHING?! I am at Camelot Music and Sam Goody at the mall, like, EVERY day! Pat Benatar, Blondie / Debbie Harry, The Police, The Cars, Altered Images, U2, Foreigner, Loverboy, Quarterflash, Rush, Juice Newton & Dolly Parton (I know, I'm a little bit country, I'm a little bit rock-n-roll), The Psychedelic Furs, The Rolling Stones (you start me up), The Stray Cats, Split Enz, Kim Wilde, Billy Joel, Human League, Queen, Adam + The Ants, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Kim Carnes, The Go-Go's, Kraftwerk, J. Geils Band, and last, but DEFINITELY NOT least... John Lennon... may his music be played forever and ever. Do you think it will be?

Movies:

Friday the 13th Part 2 (but I like Part 1 better), Halloween II (same deal), Superman II (that was actually just as good), Stripes (I am in love with that new Bill Murray guy - he is totally funny and cute!), Arthur (Dudley Moore is totally cute and funny too. and RICH!), On Golden Pond (although it's like something my parents are more into than me), The Great Muppet Caper, and, most of all, Mommie Dearest (that movie TOTALLY FREAKED ME OUT!).

Television:

The Facts of Life, Bosom Buddies, Solid Gold, That's Incredible, Real People, The Smurfs, Gimme A Break, Too Close For Comfort, Little House On the Prairie, One Day At A Time, Happy Days, Jeffersons, Alice, Laverne & Shirley, CHiPs (just for Eric Estrada), The Love Boat, Three's Company, Diff'rent Strokes (that Arnold is such a Q-T!), Dukes of Hazard (both Bo & Luke are SO FINE), WKRP, Archie Bunker's Place, Taxi... I watch a LOT of TV now that my parents gave me my new Betamax recorder! I can just fast forward through all the commercials!

Books:

My favorite records:
