Science and the paranormal. Health and fitness. The outdoors and most activities that involve being outdoors. Talking philosophically and about deep topics and the meaning of life. Having fun and being spontaneous and goofing off. Dancing and reading. Long walks on the beach...in my shoes though, the sand iritates my feet. Martial arts and weight lifting. Football and most other sports, except soccer. Watching biographies of interesting people, I hope someday someone does an intersting biography about me...without all the bad stuff though. I like all animals including dogs but unlike most guys, cats are my favorite animal. I like their independence and think its funny that they believe the world revolves around them when it clearly revolves around me. I like doing guy things but can talk easily to women as well since I had a lot of sisters. I have never used a pick up line and don't like playing games. I like being real and not trying to impress people.
All the great prophets of history. Albert Einstein and the great inventors and thinkers. The Dali Lama...and just lama's in general.
Washboards and jugs. Just kidding. Like all kinds of music and listen to anything from Hoobastank to Elvis Presley. Like music from today as well as from just about every generation and decade. Sample: Aerosmith, Abba, Alan Parsons Project, The Beattles, Bread, The Cars, Coldplay, Chicago, Dishwalla, Doobie Brothers, ELO, Eminem, Foghat, Goo Goo Dolls, Gordon Lightfoot, Heart, Isaac Hayes, Jesus Jones, Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Eat World, Carol King, Linkin Park, etc.
I'm an idealist so of course my favorite movie is "Braveheart". I think all men should be like the Mel Gibson character. I also liked "It's a wonderful Life". I appreciate all kinds of movies but think the relationships make the movie more than the special affects. Used to enjoy action movies and horror but not as much now. Like the movie "About a Boy" and think it was overlooked by a lot of people. Really like the movie "Office Space", my kind of humor. I like "2001 a space oddysey" though it was kind of long and boring in some parts. Also liked "The Break-up" with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anniston, thought the critics were way too tough on it. "Napoleon Dynamite" also rocks! "GOSH!!!"
I really don't find much to watch on tv. My friends all say 24 is a good show but havent gotten around to watching it yet. Like humor so I like Sienfeld and the HBO show Curb your Enthusiasm. I also like the show "House" his cynical humor suits my taste. 90 percent of tv is garbage though so I dont watch it too much. I do like "TAPS" which is about a bunch of guys who check out haunted places. I like "The Andy Griffith show" too, Barney Fife is the man! The "Dog Whisperer" is great too.
"A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking (a must read) Even though Stephen Hawking randomly dumped me from his friends list. "The Field" by Lynne McTaggart. "DMT: The spirit molecule" by Rick Strassman M.D. "Astral Dynamics" by Robert Bruce. "The Seventh Sense" by Lyn Buchanan. "Oneness" by Rasha. "Forbidden History" Edited by J. Douglas Kenyon. "What the Bleep do we know?" William Arntz, Betsy Chasse and Mark Vicente. Oh, and "Deathworld Trilogy" by Harry Harrison.
People who go against the crowd and say what they think and believe even if it isnt popular. People who love and want peace. Idealists who care more about what is right than about money (most politicians are the opposite of this I believe).
