About Me
UPDATE! - 11/05/07
Mr. Bellenoit has just completed a six week tour as guitarist accompanying Amos Lee , as the opening group for the Bob Dylan / Elvis Costello Fall Tour of '07. The tour started at the Austin City Limits Music Festival down in Texas, went up to the Ryman Auditorium for two nights in Nashville, and then up the east coast, back into the mid-west and ending with three nights at the Chicago Theater in the windy city. The experience was magical and he hopes to be doing some more traveling with the band in the months ahead.
UPDATE! - 4/30/07
Mr. Bellenoit was just recently featured on NPR's A Prarie Home Companion hosted by the one and only Garrison Keillor. He performed with The Sweetback Sisters and took 2nd place in their People with Talent in their Twenties Competition.

THE WORD ON THE STREET:
'...It's worth noting that Bellenoit, AKA Rolling Thunder, is a musician who leaves cocky guitar guys in the audience squeezing their girlfriends a bit tighter on their way out the door. Bellenoit's skills are a local legend...'
- PLAY MAGAZINE, 2006, Tara Murtha
'...Ross is so good, it makes me angry...'
- Ian Thomas, Songwriter, 2007
'...Bellenoit's (orginal composition) "Tria" shows his melodic and textural sensibilities as a composer.'
- JAZZIZ Magazine, 2005
'...Bellenoit's electric guitar playing stands out the most, thanks to a concise solo that would have fit in on a great radio hit of the '70s, back when they'd call in the studio pro to lay one down'.
- THE DAILY HAMPSHIRE GAZETTE, Ken Mauri
