Peter's brand new album, Notes from Elsewhere (Signature Sounds) is a retrospective collection of the very best songs he has written and performed over his 15 year recording career. But also, and perhaps moreso, my friends and colleagues: Jeffrey Foucault, Kris Delmhorst, David Goodrich, Erin McKeown, Chris Smither, Pamela Means, Anita Suhanin (the best singer I have ever heard), Tim Gearan, Sean Staples, Tod Weidner of Shrug, all the Sessions Americana guys, Chris Pureka... all us little eddies in the river.
