Rev. Slaughter

don't take offense if my profile is private to you, I'm in a quiet mood

About Me

Atheist, gynophile, book collector, misanthrope, gentleman.
Slaughter is my real name. My paternal family came from Bodelshausen, Germany, where our name was Schlotterer. We arrived on the ship Chesterfield in Philadelphia in 1749. I am a Priest in the Church of Satan.
Architect Rational (iNTp) - scored this consitantly for years, though it's been a while since I've taken the test

"...my conviction is that God never existed. I believe the Bible was written by the slickest bunch of peckerwood grifters that ever crapped between two sandles" - Iceberg Slim from his novel "Trick Baby"
"For me, the Church is the enemy." - Al Goldstein, Playboy interview, October 1974
"Writing is the one art form that really should allow you to hang yourself." - Peter Sotos, Void Books Interview
"To show you how radical I am, I want carjackers dead. I want rapists dead. I want burglars dead. I want child molesters dead. I want the bad guys dead. No court case. No parole. No early release. I want 'em dead. Get a gun and when they attack you, shoot 'em." - Ted Nugent addressing the NRA
"The intent of sincere humanitarians is to do good to society, just as the intent of the child who kills a bird by to much fondling is to do good to the bird." - Vilfredo Pareto
"Beer isn't such a blessing to men as it's supposed to be; the more you swallow, the less you stay the master of your mind" - selection from Havamal
"Out of kindness, we stopped the predators, and the deer herd expanded until it starved. Out of compassion we taught the primitives hygiene, and their death rate plummeted, their population exploded, and then famine. Out of empathy we sent food and taught them to live with other tribes under the same government. Again their population doubled, and famine set in with genocide. The scale of suffering had only been magnified by the hubris of liberals trying to do good." - Perry Lorenz
"Whence shall we expect the approach of danger? Shall some transatlantic giant step the earth and crush us at a blow? Never. All the armies of Europe and Asia could not by force take a drink from the Ohio River or make a track in the Blue Ridge in the trial of a thousand years. No, if destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we will live forever, or die by suicide." - Abraham Lincoln
"Tears of strangers is but water."
"'I am up to my neck in souls.' said Lucifer moodily." - Robert Nathan, The Innocent Eve
"I had a dream too, but it didn't look a damn thing like this." - T.F.
"I have no patience with the hypothesis occasionally expressed, and often implied, especially in tales written to teach children to be good, that babies are born pretty much alike, and that the sole agencies in creating differences between boy and boy, and man and man, are steady application and moral effort. It is in the most unqualified manner that I object to pretensions of natural equality. The experiences of the nursery, the school, the University, and of professional careers, are a chain of proofs to the contrary."- Francis Galton, "Hereditary Genius"
"There was a land of Cavaliers and Cotton Fields called the Old South. Here in this pretty world, Gallantry took its last bow. Here was the last ever to be seen of Knights and their Ladies Fair, of Master and of Slave. Look for it only in books, for it is no more than a dream remembered, a Civilization gone with the wind..." - introductory line to "Gone With The Wind"
"Lindoro gave full rein to his vulgar loquacity, interposing cant expressions, indecent retcences, shrewed revealing smiles, ambiguous gestures, little smackings of the tongue and lips. He pimped artistically, he knew how to insinuate corruption into Giuliana's mind, he knew how to draw prey slowly into Marcello's trap. And Guiliana listened intently, with a growing flame in the depths of her eyes..." - Gabrielle D'Annunzio, The Book of the Virgins
If you're teaching a class, and you pronounce "yeller" in place of "yellow", you can't get too upset when you find your students failing English. When you pronounce the word "yeller" and your students are learning English for the first time, then there are serious problems."Our world was brutal, immoral, smug and conventional. We had unbounded contempt for all those who did not sin as we sinned." Jim Tully "Circus Parade"

My Interests

The Devil, Books, Females as Objects

I'd like to meet:

Books:

"I hope I need not confess that a large part of my stock in trade consists of platitudes rescued from the cobwebbed shelves of yesterday... This borrowing and refurbishing of shop-worn goods, as a matter of fact, is the invariable habit of traders in ideas, at all times and everywhere. It is not, however, that all the conceivable human notions have been thought out; it is simply, to be quite honest, that the sort of men who volunteer to think out new ones seldom, if ever, have wind enough for a full day's work."
-H.L. Menken, from "In Defense of Women"

Heroes:

The ones I keep closest are the ones I respect the most. They all have something I don't, and that's why I keep them around. Whether it's brilliant or challenging conversation, ingenuity and skill, or laughs infinitum, they are my friends and comrades. I am loyal to them above any stranger who happens to claim similar ideas and ideals. They are family and have earned that status and not defaulted by blood.
