hhhmmm whatever happened to that great little breakfast diner on bathurst, near queen? after twenty odd years of being accused of never being open, I am finally getting the last laugh on that one! rumour has it she left town and headed west... Altho my ecclectic hours and snippy disposition won't be missed, I've heard tale that there are some folks going through some serious blintz withdrawals, while others wonder why ElVez had left the building. Eggs are eggs, but no one serves up chili and home fries quite like mine. The big change in my chili came after a trip to the great american southwest, during which I became a convert to the church of the sweet smokey chipotle chili pepper, among others..
