Downhome creature comfort

About Me

I am a motel built in 1946. Good ol' Roy Rogers and the musical group Sons of the Pioneers built me and the lil' town of Pioneertown back in them happy times to film their cowboy westerns out here. I was the bunkhouse back then where the likes of Roy, Gene Autry, Barbara Stanwyck, Gail Davis (TV's "Annie Oakley!), the Cisco Kid and so many others would catch some shut-eye whilst filming out this a-ways. I am right behind Pappy and Harriet's so's you can stumble back to your room after a good meal and great music. I am only six miles from the western entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Only half an hour from downtown Palm Springs and the Palm Springs Airport. I've been told I am sweet, rustic, comfy and magical. My rooms have a bed, a bathroom, satellite tv, microwave, coffeemaker, fridge, and most have a lil propane stove/oven unit to cook your grub if you so choose. My rooms have heating and air-conditioning so you can warm up or cool down depending on the weather. I have Wi-Fi so you can bring your laptop and look at our myspace profile as long as you want. I intentionally do not have phones, because you want to get away some, don't you? It's darn beautiful out here. Come on out and see for yourself. I have real nice owners: Susan and Fulton I have the most reasonable rates: $70 pl tx Sunday thru Thursday, $85 pl tx on Fridays and Saturdays. (My rates change for special events and holidays)... Come and visit and stay. You'll love me as much as I love you. Pioneertown Motel Website
