Sup people,I'm primarily on here for networking opportunities. I'm a young songwriter (26yrs old to be exact) who most recently placed two songs (Rain On Me and Invitation) on a major artist/label record (Byron Cage's An Invitation to Worship)! This industry is definitely fickle so i've learned to hold off about telling people about ventures until the license agreement is signed. lol (fellow songwriters understand my plight)I love to write and listen to music...i'd definitely be doing it even if i didn't receive one royalty check. A near future goal is to place 10 songs a year. People always ask why i choose not to be an artist and its simply because i don't feel called to be one. Simply stated. I choose not to waste time and energy pursuing something God did not tell me to go after. If i did, it would only be because i want to be famous, not a calling. I'm satisfied (and prayerfully God is also) with singing at church every Sunday while leading the congregation into praise. And i can not wait to see where God will take me next. EXCITED!I'm aware that i'm a man with favor, but i do have my share of struggles, insecurities, dissappointments. Some days i just act a fool! I'm human with flaws and sometimes don't feel like praising or worshipping (whuuuutt...get em lawd)...but since worship is not based on how i feel, i just clothe myself with His favor and continue on with living.
